About me

I am a PhD trained Research and Data Scientist with modeling experience in Bayesian, Signal Processing, Deep Learning, Tree-based models, Natural Language Processing, and standard machine learning models. My mathematics research background is in tensor geometry, Geometric Complexity Theory, and Graph Theory.

I also am a mentor for the Erdos Institute's Data Science Bootcamp. I have mentored students in projects involving computer vision, image classification, natural language processing, and credit risk models.

Constructing data pipelines to automate statistical analyses and data visualization.

  • August 2015 - May 2021

    Mathematics, PhD

    Texas A&M University

    Mathematics Graduate Research
Research in Geometric Complexity Theory. Studied the rank and border rank of tensors of interest in computer science and complexity theory using geometric algorithms that were implemented in Python and C++. Results were significant due to high dimensionality of problem. Calculations were done on the Texas A&M Math Department cluster and also the High Performance Computing Cluster.
    Mathematics Graduate Teaching
Lead recitations for Calculus for engineering students, which involved teaching Python/MATLab and teaching Calculus. Graded for Qualifying exam courses (Algebra and Complex Analysis). Taught my own Topics in Mathematics course which included topics on probability, statistics, finance, and linear algebra.

  • August 2012 - May 2015

    Mathematics, Master of Arts

    San Diego State University

    Mathematics Graduate Research
Research on maximally non-Hamiltonian graphs. Found more general class of non-Hamiltonian graphs. First progress on problem since 1998.
    Mathematics Graduate Teaching
Taught Calculus and Business Calculus to Engineering students. Graded for Graduate course on Linear Algebra.

  • August 2008 - June 2012
